 Warm Caramel Dip

Nothing says fall better than…. APPLES! And when they are paired with a ooey, gooey buttery warm caramel dip, you are in for a delightful treat.

If you want an old fashioned buttery caramel taste, this is the recipe for you! It has the perfect consistency and creaminess.

To keep my apples from browning after being sliced, I placed the slices in a cold water/lemon juice mixture until ready to serve. They stayed looking bright and fresh for several hours using this little trick.

Cool Weather Drinks

Cool Weather Drinks

Cool weather is quickly approaching!!! It’s been an extremely hot and muggy summer season here where I live and we are so excited to think of  what is just around the corner. I love cozying on the couch with a crocheted afghan and a warm drink after my little ones are in bed for the night. And I love waking up to the crisp morning air and cozying on the couch with a crocheted afghan and warm drink. Haha! Coffee drinks are my all time favorite, but I am looking forward to trying some new teas and ciders as well.

Creamy Chicken Pot Pie Soup Recipe with Flaky Pie Crust Leaves

Our family loves a good chicken pot pie any time of the year, but it seems to taste even better after a chilly-windy-rainy fall day 🙂 This summer I tried the Chicken Pot Pie Soup at Zoup on their Customer Appreciation Day (yay for 99 cent soup), and knew we had to try making it this fall. Their soup had amazing flavor, but it was a little too thick for my liking (think “gloppy” :-P), so I made my soup with the thinner texture that I desired. I have to say . . . our chicken pot pie is definitely the best out there ;-). So when I developed this recipe, I started with the basics of the original pie filling recipe and went from there. It was a winner, and I’m thinking it might make it on to the dinner menu several times this fall 🙂 Continue Reading

Fall Printables FREE {set of 3}

It’s time to decorate for fall!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve already been drinking pumpkin spice coffee (did you know Sweet Leaf makes pumpkin spice liquid stevia?! I’ve been using it every morning for several weeks now…yum) and sticking some fall-ish flowers around my living room. Some people love to hang on to summer for all it’s worth, but we get TOO much summer where I live, so we’re ready to break out anything fall by the time September rolls around (even though we can still go swimming, ha!). 🙂
