Make Your Own Flavored Cream Cheese

Tuesday is Panera’s Bagel Day where they offer a baker’s dozen of bagels for just $7. What’s even better is that my sister had a mobile order offer for $5 off. So, we got 13 bagels for just $2!! (You can find out more about it here.) And, bagels are easy to freeze. So, we won’t waste any of the 13 we got. 🙂

And for a sweet one, I did a honey walnut cream cheese spread:

So, go be creative and try your own combinations and flavors. I’m thinking a strawberry vanilla one on a chocolate chip bagel sounds marvelous! What sounds good to you? Please share with us what you try and what flavors together would be good. We sure would love to hear from you!!

  1. Suddenly I’m craving a French Onion blend on a plain bagel. I’m guessing blending a packet of onion soup mix with the cream cheese would be a quick shortcut to hold me over until the heat lets up enough for me to want to sautée onions. 🙂
