I love sitting down with a cup of this warm Red Hot Cinnamon Citrus Tea on a cozy, fall day. I almost always have a pot of it on the stove when we’re having company in the fall or winter. It makes my house smell cozy and inviting, and I love having a warm drink ready to offer to my guests when they arrive. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is such a soothing drink, and when you’re FREEZING cold on a winter day, it’s one of those drinks that you can feel warm your body all the way down as you drink it.

It’s amazing how cinnamon-y (that’s a word, right?) and delicious a drink becomes when you add those spicy little cinnamon candies!

(We love cinnamon imperial candies and even have Red Hot Popcorn recipe that all our families LOVE!)

It’s really quick and easy to put this cinnamon citrus tea together!

You’ll just steep your tea bags for a few minutes, then add the rest of your ingredients and heat until the candies are dissolved!

So easy, right?

I like leaving a potful warm on the stove so company can help themselves when they want more.

I’ve even doubled or tripled this and put it into my crockpot (such an easy way to keep it warm) so that there is plenty to go around for a big dinner party!

By the way, I *love* using my cable knit cup cozy when I’m drinking warm drinks like this one…. it reminds me of a cozy sweater, haha!

And this pattern is simple enough for beginner knitters. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This Red Hot Cinnamon Citrus Tea is pretty similar in taste to our “Red Hot Sipper” drink – but where I live, I don’t have access to drink mixes that that recipe calls for, so I came up with this juice-based version.

The downside is that you can’t store the “drink mix” in a container for quick mixing like you can with the Red Hot Sipper…but the upside is that I can use 100% juices instead.

Either way, those red hot cinnamon imperial candies make both of these drinks taste delicious!
