Circut Thank You Card (with Cricut Pens)
Cricut pens are such a fun way to add personality and detail to your crafts! Instead of just cutting, your Cricut can draw beautiful lettering, doodles, and designs with smooth, vibrant ink. They’re perfect for making handmade cards, labels, planner stickers, and classroom printables with a polished, professional look. If you love easy, creative projects with big impact, Cricut pens make crafting even more exciting.
Here is an easy Cricut craft for you to try with Cricut pens. Everyone needs a good thank-you card option to make in a pinch!
Drawing with Cricut pens is simple! Find your design (this is the one that I have made for you), and make sure you have the “writing” option selected in the Operations dropdown menu.

Then, make sure you have everything attached and continue to the Make page. I used the Cricut card mat for this project (the R20 option – 4.25″ x 5.5″).
From here, your Cricut will tell you which color of marker to put in for each pass. The colors I used here are Sour Apple, Very Berry, Coffee, and Candy Corn.
Another great feature of this is that you can color-customize any of the designs you find. Just pick whichever colors you want and have at it.
Your Cricut will do all the work making a card that looks like you spent hours drawing!
When your card is finished, you can either leave your design as is, or use the markers to fill in details or color in your design.
If you want to make this a watercolor card, you can use the Cricut watercolor pen set. I really love this set and use it for most of the cards I make! It just adds such a fun effect to cards and gift tags.
