An easy jello dessert made with cherry jello, cherry pie filling, and sprite.
The sprite gives it a “creamy” texture and makes it a special treat that everyone loves!
This is one of our very favorite recipes. Growing up, our aunt used to make it, and we called it “good jello.” 😀
She always went home with an empty dish because adults and kids LOVE it.
“WHAT is in this jello to make it sooo good??”
The really neat thing is that it is so easy and only uses a few ingredients.
You just need:
- 1 large package cherry jello
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups Sprite
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 tub whipped cream
Just dissolve the jello in the boiling water, stir in the Sprite, and then stir in the cherry pie filling!
Pour into an 8×8 pan and chill until firm.
Top with whipped cream.
Tip: You can also make this jello using sugar free jello mix, diet Sprite, sugar free pie filling, and sugar free whipped cream for a sugar free dessert option!
