I want to share it with you guys, because with Christmas not far off (I start shopping early to spread out the expenses), this is an inexpensive gift that is absolutely stunning,  yet so simple to make!

I worked on my felt flowers and succulents over a couple nights during movie time — I’m going to keep up doing that for a few days so that I have lots of flowers ready to make more gifts!

Here’s what you need to make a Pizza Pan Welcome Sign:

Here’s how easy it is to make this Pizza Pan Welcome Sign:

First step is to transfer text onto the pizza pan and get it set permanently with an oil-based Sharpie.

The back looks better for a sign, so flip the pan to the back and transfer the design. I use THIS METHOD (watch my video, it’s just chalk and then tracing the design with a pen or pencil….SO easy).

You can CLICK HERE to get this “home” scripted text to print.

I did the easy design transfer and then colored it in with my white oil Sharpie.

Next, I hot glued trim to the edges of the pizza pan to spruce it up a little. This small step actually made a big difference in how much better it looks!

Do not underestimate the power of some good trim. 😄

The next step is to start attaching the flowers and succulents.

Here’s a video on how to make felt succulents….more details (+ the printable template) in THIS POST.

I’ll show you step by step in my photos which order I went in – I spent 15 minutes arranging and re-arranging until I liked how it looked, so I will save you the time by showing you what I ended up with. 😆

(You can totally get creative and do your own arrangement, of course – I’ll just give you the details in case you prefer to quickly copy this one.)

Here’s the first base row:

1 medium pink rose, 1 large cream rose, 1 medium succulent, 1 small pink rose, 1 large succulent, 1 large cream rose, 1 medium succulent, and 1 small cream rose

You want to secure these on the edge, hanging over a little to cover the edge of the pizza pan. Be sure to use lots of hot glue! 😀

The next thing I added were 2 donkey’s tail succulents, one on each side.

Next, I added 3 near the center:

One large cream rose, 1 large succulent, 1 medium pink rose

Be sure to push these close together, nice and tight.

Lastly, I added to the top left:

1 medium succulent, 1 small cream rose, 1 donkey’s tail succulent

  1. I love this DIY. I’m trying to make it and the hot glue won’t stick to the nonstick pan. It just comes off. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
